Creating public repositories is now restricted due to the persistent threat of performance degradation from scraping which negatively impacts all users of this service. At this time, most existing public repositories will remain as-is, but we advise owners to consider changing the visibility of your repositories to internal (i.e. require WatIAM authentication). Please note that this change may impact users who cloned the repository while it was public.
If a public repository is found to be responsible for performance degradation, it will be switched to internal visibility immediately.
