BE: Error message if user doesn't select date

1. if user doesn't select a date on the calendar, it should create a toast error message and not let them confirm.
2. if user doesn't select a date but selects a booking period, ensure no available start times are displayed. currently if i don't select a date but select a booking period, i get possible start times from a 9AM - 9PM window.
