Starting at or around 8:30am on Thursday the 27th of August, git.uwaterloo.ca and git-ist.private.uwaterloo.ca will be upgraded to latest patch in 19.3 release. Service interruption is expected.
Creating public repositories is now restricted due to the persistent threat of performance degradation from scraping which negatively impacts all users of this service.
On Sept 1st, all remaining public repositories will be changed to internal visibility. If you have questions or concerns, submit a support request to the GitLab team.
