Make folder shortcuts that have subfolders take optional parameters

Kevin Paxman requested to merge feature/kpaxman-folder_shortcut_improvements into 3.0.x

I've been thinking it would be neat if we could just type something like "features uw_ct_web_page" and it would go directly there - this branch, in theory, would let that happen (along with similar things).
